The administrative functions allow you to make large scale
changes to the event database for a particular calendar, add and edit calendars, change
templates, add and edit users and user groups, change various other settings and modify
registration and installation information. The administrative functions are grouped into
three sections:
Edit User Functions
The event manager allows you to Import, Export, Delete, Undelete, Remove and List events. Each of these items is described in further Event Manager help page. Users with Event Edit permission or above will see these options.
Administrative Functions
The calendar manager allows you to Add, Edit, Delete, Undelete, Remove and List
calendars. Each of these items is described in further detail by following the above
links. Only users with Calendar Administer permission or
above will ever see these options.
The Customize Event Display screen
allows you to completely customize the display and behavior of events in this calendar.
The template manager allows you to change or reset the current calendar's template. Each of these items is
described in further detail by following the above links. Only users with Calendar Administer permission or above will ever see these
options.
Dynamic Include Files may be used to include
lists of pre-canned events into any calendar. For example, you might use Dynamic
Include files for holiday display.
Super User Functions
The user manager allows you to Add, Edit, Delete, Undelete, Remove and List users.
Each of these items is described in further detail by following the above links.
Only the SUPER user will ever see these options.
The user group manager allows you to Add, Edit, Delete, Undelete, Remove and List
users. Each of these items is described in further detail by following the above
links. Only the SUPER user will ever see these
options.
Customize Date Settings allows you to modify
the way dates are displayed in all calendar across the system. Change you make in
this screen effect all calendars, thus its inclusion in functions only available to SUPER
users.
Email Settings allow you to specify the
behavior of the program when certain events (those with non-empty notification lists) are
modified. Only the SUPER user may modify these settings.
The license and installation manager allows you to register
the software and manage your licenses and display information about the installation of the software. Only the SUPER user will ever see these options.
